In a video they shot inside the hospital, the patients, comprising of Nigerians and foreigners, carried placards with messages appealing to everyone to stay at home. One of the placards had the inscription ''Coronavirus is real, stay home''.

How Osun Recorded 14 Coronavirus Cases

Osun state government has given details of how the cases of the coronavirus pandemic suddenly surges to 14, making the state the third highest state with confirmed cases of the deadly disease. AMILOADED reports that the National Centre for Disease Control yesterday announced that Osun recorded 9 new cases of Coronavirus, which raised the total number of confirmed cases to 14. Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Ismail Omipidan disclosed that the new cases are among returnees from Ivory Coast, who came into the State last week. According to them, the returnees are from Osun, Anambra, Kwara, Oyo, Ekiti, Edo and other States but whose destination was Osun. They were 127 and were conveyed to the State in 6 buses from Ogun-Osun border and taken directly to an isolation centre in Ejigbo to prevent communal mixing. Lagos Residents Hit The Streets To Protest As Hunger Strikes Hard Amid Lockdown

Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu of Lagos state on Tuesday, March 24, issued a sit-at-home order across the state to enable the government tackle further spread of coronavirus. A week later, President Muhammadu Buhari in a nationwide broadcast, ordered a lockdown across Lagos, Abuja and Ogun states as part of measures to curb the disease. However, since the lockdown order by Buhari took effect on Monday, 30th March by 11pm, there have been many criticisms and outcries as citizens lambasted government for not providing palliatives to enable people cope during the shutdown. With over a week into lockdown for residents of Lagos state, some Lagosians have taken to the streets to lament and even challenge members of the state’s task force. In a video which has gone viral on social media, the residents stated that hunger and epileptic power supply makes it difficult for them to stay at home.

She said the scammer, who is threatening to tarnish her image and destroy her career of over 45 years, identifies himself as Jason and lives in Osun State. Salawa Abeni took to her Instagram page to share screenshots of her chats and the said nude pictures and wrote: "Good morning my Family, friends and Fans. I have something very important to tell you and I will really appreciate your audience. I am very disappointed that someone somewhere will try to tarnish my image and threaten to destroy my career of over 45 years. This morning, I received messages from somebody threatening to expose very old pictures of me and in the process, blackmailing me for money.
